Taff*tune - Yellow Banana

Bryn Alban will be bringing some sunshine to Wales this winter with his freshly Bee*R B324R kitted Skyline. The Bee*R kit was originally intended for his other R32 Skyline that he'd been building for ages but after a change of heart he decided to concentrate on modifying and drifting his road going R32.

There's only a hand full of Skylines with this kit and this one is one of the best looking yet. It looks nothing short of badass, even in bright yellow, and the Work Emotion XD9's it's sitting on are one of my most favourite rims ever.

Bryn's well known for his attention to detail and there's little touches all over this car which highlight that. Check out the Skyline badge from a 70's KPGC10. So fresh...

I'm really looking forward to seeing more from this car and hopefully I'll get to shoot it sometime!

AW11

My Brother-in-law Tony picked up this AW11 MR2 a while back. In fact I posted some photos of it on this blog in February (you can check them out here if your interested). The cars been neglected for a long time and after a bit of, erm, exertion, the engine went tits up in a cloud of smoke. The head gasket was absolutely mashed up. So it gave us a good excuse to finally get busy restoring it. First up a full service, new cambelt, plugs, leads, new gaskets everywhere, etc was needed.

Took about two days to get everything done due to a few hiccups, but we got it done. It doesn't look very pretty (for now) but at least it works.

For a car that’s 24 years old the interior is in almost mint condition. Apart from the radio falling apart, but that doesn't count...

Finally on the ground! Bodywork is next up on the list.

Full Lock aftermath

Haven't had much time to update the blog. But the Full Lock party was pretty damn sweet! The sound system was off the hook and the 10 minute preview of the next film was so gooooood. A great JD & Coke fuelled night, and it was nice catching up with friends and just chilling out.

Here's to 2010!

Thanks to James Lu at LuPix Photography for the photo.
